Friday 29 May
Ecclesiasticus 44:1, 9-13, Ps. 150, Mark 11:11-26
House of Prayer
Each of us may have a favourite or customary place of prayer – the outlook, lighting, special chair or prayer stool, a particular cushion; there may be a special cross or statue, one might light a candle, pick a flower. Any of the above may help to make a special individual “house” of prayer. Cherish and reflect there. There are also Churches, Chapels, Worship Centres and so on that we may pass in travelling. As we become aware of these Community houses of prayer give praise and adoration within our hearts.
Mary, Ark of the Covenant, plead for us.
