A place of prayer

Your place of prayer may not be on a river-bank, but it should be helpful and supportive of serene and deep conversation with our Lord and God. Some have found helpful: a religious image, a candle, an open Bible or prayer book – use what assists you. A fresh flower, lowered level of light, a quiet place in your home. May the Holy Spirit of witness to the truth enable sincere and peaceful prayer to come and stay.
