I know mine

The Good Shepherd is a powerful image used by Jesus to express his love and care for his people. The imagery would have meant so much to his listeners. To be known personally, to be cared for, to be sought out if lost, to belong to the flock and know that the shepherd will watch out for you. This is our God who speaks, the one who made us and who cares for us. How often do I just sit and bask in that great love of God for me? God has made himself known to me, I am so blessed.
