THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER

Acts 3:13-15,17-19; Ps 5; 1 John 2:1-5; Luke 24:35-48

Our reality

The readings speak about conversion and sin. We have been reflecting on Easter joy and God’s generosity. We are reminded here again of the tension between that and our own fickle response. Sin is a reality. But it does not have to conquer us. Jesus died for our sins. The mercy of God is endless and God never grows tired of imparting it to us. Conversion is a life-long process and the grace of God is always available to us. Do I really believe this and let it shape my life?
