St Joseph

Faith in action

Joseph protected, provided for and guided the holy family. Scripture is silent on his words but he is like an invisible foundation sustaining Jesus and Mary. Jesus spoke about “Abba” so we can deduce a strong loving relationship with Joseph who listened and obeyed what he felt God asked for. Joseph was a hardworking father, a practical man of action who courageously did what was right. Like Jesus and Mary we can trust his intercession. Joseph is the patron of fathers, the family and the universal Church. If you don’t know him well, ask Jesus and Mary to introduce you.
