Christ the teacher

Jesus pities the crowd because they are like sheep without a shepherd, so he begins to teach them at some length. Christ continues to be our shepherd, teaching us by word and example. To live Christ is to be sealed in his blood. Sealed in his blood, we do his will through the performance of every good action knowing that in, with and through Christ we will become acceptable to him who is our glory and praise for ever.
