The Touch of Jesus

In Jewish society the leper was a despised and feared outcast, living in shameful isolation. No-one would come near him, let alone touch him. But Jesus “stretched out his hand and touched” the leper and healed him. Whenever we feel unloved, isolated, inadequate or inferior, when we feel like that leper felt, ask Jesus to “stretch out his hand and touch” us.
