Little Things Do Count

In St John’s version, the five loaves and two fish are provided by a small boy. The fish would have been very small and the loaves were what we would call buns. Jesus took that little offering and turned it into something very big. We too can take our little offerings – our talents, our time, our resources – to Jesus and see how, no matter how little we may consider them to be, Jesus will use them as part of the big mission of building his Kingdom on Earth.
