Pray for Peace

What would Jesus think of our world today? Of the corruption, viciousness, dissension, cruelty, persecution and unkindness? How would we stack up as his apostles of peace and love? Do we do enough to broker peace – at home, school, work, communities? Do we pray to God, who can do anything, for world peace?

May the Prince of Peace be in the hearts and minds of all people. May those whose talents are to lead and guide us follow the path of love, not hate. May our prayers be strong enough to turn others from sin, especially those who cause trouble on a mass scale.
