Laying the groundwork

It all comes down to preparation, something St Pius X knew a bit about. In lowering the age of receiving Communion to age seven and arranging catechism classes for children, he was laying the groundwork for a stronger, deeper Faith for generations of future Catholics. What about our groundwork? We have our own to lay - will we be prepared when the summons arrives or be last minute acceptances? Lord, help us to be ready when your call comes to celebrate at your table.
