Who can be saved?

The disciples were probably still pondering on the young man who had walked away, when Jesus again spoke of the rich man’s inability to enter the kingdom of heaven. Their astonished question, “who can be saved, then?” is a valid one. Jesus’ answer is simple and straightforward. Man has no say in the matter. Only God can make everything possible. We are blessed that through our relationship with Jesus, he is our ‘bridge’ to the Father. Lord, alone we have no power, no influence over our destiny, so we need your intercession. Thank you Jesus.
