One step at a time

Jesus’ response must have made the young man sigh with relief. At least until he heard the last part. No wonder he was sad. Don’t we all feel at times that God is asking the impossible of us? Jesus never promised it would be easy following him, quite the opposite in fact; all we can do is take one step at a time. Let’s thank the Lord that he falls into step with us, otherwise we might never catch him up!
