Stay focussed

It’s easy to relate to Peter. Bold, brash and impulsive, yet filled with doubts and fears like most of us. When Jesus beckoned him to walk to him on the stormy sea, Peter didn’t hesitate; if the Lord said it was ok, that was all he needed to hear. Before he reached Jesus reality set in, he became agitated. We know what happened next. When distractions crowd in we too can lose our footing and our sense of direction. So we pray today, Lord when things get rough, keep us focussed on you.
