Concern for others

After Jesus’s mother, Mary Magdalene would be the woman closest to him. She anointed his weary feet. She was with him on the road to Calvary, then at the crucifixion, then at his burial. She was the first to check the tomb in the morning. Mary had concern for his well- being; concern to accompany Jesus through Calvary; concern to ensure he was laid to rest and concern to check the tomb - then her ‘reward’ to meet him on Easter Sunday. Mary Magdalene help us to imitate your concern for others so that one day we might meet Jesus too.
