Fourteenth sunday in ordinary time

Zechariah 9:9-10; Romans 8:9-13;Ps 145; Matthew 11:25-30

Encouragement

“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” When I’m weary with life’s problems, this passage gives me encouragement. What can one say other than to suggest that we reflect on the reading and pray for encouragement?
