Being ordinarily holy

Sometimes we are poor judges of our Christian goodness. The world soon cuts us down to size. This is as it should be. When there is too much of me and not enough of God in my life I am better to be part of the background crowd following Jesus Christ. Personal prayer in private, off the cuff chats with God, making a good confession are good ways to open up my heart to God so that he can be more present in my behaviour. A life graced with humility is the reward of opening my heart to God.
