The story of Paul and Silas reminds me of the witness of Nelson Mandela. Despite being imprisoned unjustly their response was prayer, love, concern for their jailers and a commitment to stick to their personal missions.

When trapped or threatened and getting ready to fight, flee or freeze ask God for the grace of magnanimous love instead.
