An invitation to faith

All we need to activate God’s promised responses in his invitation to ask, seek and knock, is faith. He will respond as a loving, generous father – as we all well know through the many blessings we receive in our everyday lives, if we only look for them. Some are humble moments that lighten our loads, while others – like the sacraments – are very great.

Loving Lord, thank you for your invitation, especially the faith that inspires me to respond to you. Through the working of the Holy Spirit also may I open the doors of my heart to others.
