Do we sing and dance?

Joseph and Mary followed their religious law and consecrated Jesus in the temple. Since Vatican II our own religious laws have been relaxed, but their spirit remains. How well do we observe them? Do we recognize Jesus when we meet him, as the prophets Simeon and Anna did in the temple? He is there, in the Eucharist, and everywhere through his Holy Spirit if we take the trouble to look. When we do recognize him, are we like the psalmist, singing “He, the Lord, he is the King of Glory”?
