I keep trying

Two things drove David, to build God a Temple and to have a successor so he would be remembered forever. Unfortunately, he began to think he was God [2 Sam 7:4-17]. Though David’s arrogance grows, God’s forgiveness and loyalty are constant [Psalm 88]. There is always assurance for us who hear the Word and keep it; and always warnings for us if we do not [Mk 4:1-20].
