When all is not well

For King David all is going well. Everyone is behind him and he makes Jerusalem his capital city so the tribes stay united [2 Sam 5:1-7;10]. With God behind him no one is against him [Psalm 88]. Later things turn bad. Similarly, at first things went well for Jesus in Galilee but early non-acceptance accused him of being Satan. He takes the opportunity to say that because he is God’s son opposition to him will never be forgiven [Mk 3:22-30]. All this reminds me of experiences where I have been misunderstood and opposed for being a carrier of the Word of God.
