Chosen without discrimination

In the Temple in Jerusalem Paul defends how he was chosen as an Apostle [Acts 22:3-16]. I too am called to spread the good news of God’s love [Psalm 116] in my time. In a post resurrection appearance Jesus describes what being an Apostle actually is and proves in advance that Paul fits the job description [Mk 16: 15-18]. How much applies to me?
