Sunday 20 October

Twenty ninth week ordinary time.

Exodus 17:8-13, Psalm 121, 2 Timothy 3:14-4:2, Luke 18:1-8

“The Lord will guard your coming and going both now and forever”– Ps 121

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of God’s hand.
Irish Blessing

Familiar prayers give us a way of expressing our faith. The Irish blessing and Psalm 121 speak of God’s constant presence with us.
