What am I locking away from God?

Jesus describes a determined thief breaking walls. We like to think we’re in control, that our possessions are our own. When we block out suffering and the needy as ‘not my responsibility’, we shut Jesus out. But he is not content to remain outside. Jesus is after our heart, mind, soul, will, everything. Our relationship with God is not just a comfortable chat by the fire but an invitation to the radical adventure of life and love. Jesus says, “Do not be afraid…there is unfailing treasure in heaven.” What am I locking away from God?
