Give without counting the cost

It can be easy in the rush to earn money to pay the bills and feed, educate, accommodate and care for ourselves and our families to forget that all good things come from and will return to God.

Dear God, may we turn from sin and follow the gospels with open and generous hearts, giving you thanks and praise. May each prayer be a treasure, each sacrifice holy. Lord, teach me to be generous, to serve you as you deserve to be served.
