Come … bow down … worship

The procession makes its way towards the great gates of the temple. Joy and worship fill the hearts of God’s people. “Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD,” cries the worship leader. In the outer courts of the temple he calls, “Come before him with thanksgiving”. Then, as they enter the holy place, he cries, Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker”. This same invitation reaches to wherever God’s people are today. “Come … worship … bow down … hear his voice … do not harden your hearts.”
