Nothing kept secret

We are called to be ‘sincere in heart and filled with faith’; ‘free from any trace of bad conscience’. Oscar Wilde wrote: ‘I forgot that every little action of the common day makes or unmakes character and that, therefore, what one has done in the secret chamber one has someday to cry aloud on the housetops.’ So that God’s love may shine more clearly in us, may nothing bad be covered over in our lives. After all, in Christ we are God’s holy people.
