An anchor for our soul

God’s promise to Abraham, our father in faith, has been renewed in Christ’s sacrifice, for all people of all time. Today’s Psalm assures us that the Lord is not only compassion and love, but he ‘keeps his covenant ever in mind’. This assurance buoys up our courage and our hope and provides a firm foundation for our confidence and faith.
