He went off to a lonely place and prayed

Our Lord cured illnesses, drove out devils and preached God’s everlasting covenant of love for his people. In his time alone with the Father in prayer he was bathed in the Father’s love for him and drew strength for whatever the Father called him to do. So do we draw strength from our time alone in prayer with God.
