A promise

Peter was puzzled. “What will there be for us?” Jesus says “And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for the sake of my name will receive a hundred times more, and will inherit eternal life.” Would it be appropriate to reflect on the lives of one or two saintly persons whom one admires for their good works and commitment to the faith?
