“Blessed are they..”

The Beatitudes are among the most beautifully expressed of Christ’s teachings, and are central to of his message of eternal life; they give substance to his promise of his kingdom, and the means of our admission to it.

Lord, as I meditate on Christ’s great understanding of our need to know more about our ultimate destination as we journey in faith towards eternal life, keep all people safe with you, especially the oppressed and those who try to help them.
