Isaiah 55: 10-11; Psalm 34; Matthew 6: 7-15

Those who seek the Lord lack nothing.

David sang this psalm of thanksgiving to God when he was rescued from danger. The praise of God would always be on his lips. “Magnify the Lord with me, together let us exalt his name” has a familiar Marian ring about it. “The Lord answered me when I sought him”, “he is near to the broken-hearted, saves the crushed in spirit.” I taste the Lord in my prayer time, and indeed, I see that my God is wonderfully good to me.
