The mustard seed

Just as the mustard seed begins as a tiny seed and grows into a plant that provides shelter to the birds, so is our faith implanted in us to grow and flourish so it can provide shelter for God and His holy commandments. With the working of the Holy Spirit, our tiny seed of faith grows and flourishes as we fulfil our purpose in life. The mustard seed shows us that even the very least of God’s creation is capable of fulfilling God’s will: today I will give myself to God to do as He wishes in the best way I can for love of Him.
