Knowing God’s will

We are asked to listen to God so we are ready to hear Him when He tells us what He wants – but knowing whether what you hear is God’s will or your own preference can be difficult to discern. David was fortunate as he had an angel to advise him. The apostles were also fortunate, as they had Jesus with them and were able to discuss matters and listen to Him in person. Although we don’t have these advantages, we do have a living faith, and can be certain that whatever God wants of us will always be within reach.

Mary Mother of God may I walk with you today as I do my Father’s will.
