Trusted with God’s Work

Each servant receives one ‘pound’, worth about three months’ pay for a labourer. The king shows great trust, leaving them to use such a large sum just as they think best. When he returns, it is clear that this trust was also a test. What initiative and drive have they shown? Those who pass the test are rewarded. But while today some might think the appropriate reward for enterprise is early retirement, these servants were rewarded for their effective work with even more challenging work. In what area of my life does God want me to work with special energy?
