Sharing with little ones

It is not normal to invite the poor, crippled and blind to our tables. Family life would not function properly if it were so. Our children are little ones whom we know can never repay us for the love we bestow on them. We must make sacrifices to bring them up knowing Jesus Christ. Can I have a more generous spirit around my table so my children get the drift that love and littleness are at the heart of the kingdom? If my children have left home and there are spare chairs perhaps I can think about those lonely and shunned people.
