Surprised by joy

Sr Wendy Beckett suggests, “Joy not only illuminates our interior landscape but transforms it.”

We are called to be a people of joy: a joy that delights in life; in love; in others; in creation and in the divine. Joy is reflected in our face, our demeanour, our actions, our responses. Joy evangelises because others recognise the face of God in joy.

The fruits of a joy-filled life are compassion, kindness, awareness, attentiveness and the ability to live, consciously, in the present moment. So let us reveal our transformation to the world!
