A living family of God

We are baptised into a communion, the church as the body of Christ, a living family of God. As in any family, church relationships are challenging. The principles apply for any community. Jesus speaks about mutual respect, trust, the importance of speaking the truth and requiring justice in transparency always with the hope of repentance and reconciliation if all parties engage, but allowing appropriate separation if they don’t. Jesus promises that when we live in unity, God is with us. How am I building community with respect, love, truth, honesty and justice?
