Being the Greatest

So the “least” among us is the “greatest” Our Lord teaches us. “Yeah right!” would be the secular response. Here’s how I figure it: Jesus says that the whole of the Law can be summed up in the command to love. To love is to serve. So we are to be servants – servants of God and servants of each other. In secular terms servants are among the “least”. The “greatest” servant is therefore the least of all. “Brother, sister, let me serve you, let me be as Christ to you.”.
