Choosing the right path

We hear a grim story of the pressure placed on people to turn away from their faith, from the right path. Later, Jesus also laments the fact that the right path will not be taken by his followers; that the message of peace has not been heard and that there will be terrible consequences. Do we recognise the beautiful opportunity that God offers us? Are our eyes open to God’s message?
