Judging

“Do not judge and you will not be judged yourselves” [Luke 6:37]. Jesus lived under the constant watch of those eager to find something in his behaviour to use against him. He knew well the destructive power of gossip, innuendo and judgements rising from jealousy or hearsay. Think about your own readiness to judge or lay blame. Have you been part of a rumour mill hurtful of another? Have you been victim to a false accusation? Give yourself a special time slot to ponder today’s readings.
