How to be perfect

It is not as impossible as you may think! What Jesus requests is that we endeavour to be perfectly human. That is not the same as being perfect in the way that God is perfect. And Jesus offers some guidance about how we can be perfect. Love your neighbour and your enemies. Pray for those who love you and for those who persecute you. And greet the stranger as well as your sisters and brothers. That may present a challenge but does it really seem impossible?
