Ambitions and dreams

Lent is a season to notice how we can distract ourselves. Jesus is letting the apostles know about his impending suffering in Jerusalem, wanting to give a ‘heads-up’ to the horror he anticipates and an ambitious mother is after favouritism for her boys. It seems they all become distracted. What is it that Jesus is wanting to let me know today? In prayer and in reflection including those moments of daydreaming, are these moments all about my ambitions and dreams just for myself or in my inner world can I listen afresh to Jesus who invites me to live in his way.?
