We are witnesses

Jesus invites us to live deeply. In 1975, St Pope Paul VI offered the world a teaching on Evangelisation. Truly a landmark teaching, in which he reminded us that we are listened to best if we are witnesses to what we teach. Day by day with our prayer habit we live out our faith in Jesus Christ. This shapes how we care, spend our energy and reach out to those around us, and helps others to listen to the Gospel because they can sense it has influenced our life. Jesus reminds the crowds that the Scribes and Pharisees are paying mere ‘lip service’ to the teaching of God. We are today’s witnesses of Jesus. To live an authentic life is our approach.
