Stood on its head

Throughout the ages the world’s ideal of being great is to have the esteem, favour and applause of others. That’s the standard Jesus turned upside down. No greater than he has ever lived on earth but he “humbled himself and became obedient unto death … Therefore, God has highly exalted him.” The Lord Jesus has set the standard. The humbler we are, the greater we are in the Kingdom of God.
