Kindness

John Bosco was born in 1815 in Turin. He founded the Salesians and provided education for young underprivileged boys. Fr John was kind and understanding of young people. He taught them that it was easy to be a saint, “Do the ordinary things in an extraordinary way.” His teaching system was based on kindness, reason and religion. Kindness for John was shown by a fundamental respect for the young people by which they came to know they were loved. Let us give thanks for the young people in our lives. Pray that every child may grow up in safety and knowing that they are loved.
