Hope

Hope is belief in things unseen; if we could see then it would not be hope. Abraham persevered and saw God’s promises come to fulfilment. King David hoped in the compassionate understanding of God when, hungry, he and his followers ate the bread in the temple. Jesus showed hope in action when he taught that the wellbeing of the people comes before strict observance of the law when that could be to the detriment of the people. Let us ponder on the words of Paul, (Hope) “is an anchor for our soul.”
