Here I am

We are invited through today’s readings to be open and listening to God’s voice; we are called to be willing to do what God is asking of us. Jesus was willing to do the will of his Father which led to his giving his life for us. Jesus, the apostle Paul, Jesus’ cousin John the Baptist and the psalmist are fine role models for us. “Here I am, Lord. I come to do your will for me.”
