Be confident

The Word of God is more than words on the page. When we read Scripture prayerfully, often we experience a word or a phrase jumping off the page and into our mind and heart. It is like we haven’t seen it like that before. We understand it in a way we have not understood it before. Through the word, God speaks into our daily lives and this word surprises and delights us. Praying daily with Scripture strengthens us and gives us wisdom and confidence to deal with life. Read again one of today’s scripture readings. We may see things differently.
