Human dignity

When we are tempted to self-doubt and to feeling hopeless, praying with today’s psalm may restore us. As insignificant and tiny as we may feel we are compared to the magnificence and vastness of creation, today’s psalm reminds us of our dignity and our place as human beings who are made in God’s image. The Creator cares for each one of us. The Spirit of love holds us in being and does not forget us. Just as Jesus Christ suffered to make us holy, through the slings and arrows of life (suffering) we are made perfect. Pray today for someone who is experiencing a difficult time.
